Debra Jasper shares her passion for visual storytelling and continuous learning as an international keynote speaker. She specializes in helping business leaders take advantage of new digital platforms to reach large audiences and build deeper connections. Thousands are enrolled in her firm’s highly visual online training courses.

Debra has provided keynotes and consulting to nearly 50,000 professionals, from small business owners to Fortune 50 firms and major hospitals around the world. She has given keynotes at the Nordic Media Festival in Norway, the Schibsted Academy for Journalists in Sweden, and the Ukrainian Council of Ministers and has been recognized for her visual storytelling as a mainstage speaker at Pubcon.

In addition, Debra:

  • directed The Ohio State University’s Kiplinger Program in Public Affairs Journalism, where she launched the first social media journalism fellowship in the world—working with journalists from top newsrooms
  • has won more than 40 journalism awards, including 17 first-place investigative and enterprise reporting awards

Debra has two degrees in journalism and a PhD in Educational Policy and Leadership from The Ohio State University, where she wrote her dissertation on the art of powerful storytelling. An award-winning investigative journalist, Debra spent a decade covering presidential campaigns and politics.

Betsy Hubbard helps leaders in Fortune 100 firms and healthcare organizations get up to speed in a digital age. She is fascinated by the digital revolution and passionate about helping professionals make the most of technology. Betsy has trained thousands and delivered keynotes to nearly 40,000 people across the world—from Utah to Ukraine.

Before founding Mindset Digital, Betsy transformed the Kiplinger Program in Public Affairs Journalism at The Ohio State University into the first social media fellowship for journalists and taught graduate courses on the impact of digital media on public policy at the John Glenn School of Public Affairs.

In addition, Betsy:

  • worked as a grant maker at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where she initiated a funding program overseeing millions of dollars of research and projects, including innovative outreach campaigns conducted by the Ad Council and Rock the Vote
  • worked as a consultant conducting research on leadership and organizational performance for a range of clients

Betsy earned a M.A. in Public Policy from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Political Science from Goucher College, also spending a year abroad at the London School of Economics.

Morgan Mulgrew
Keynote Speaker, Trainer and LinkedIn Specialist

As a trainer with Mindset Digital, Morgan Mulgrew coaches industry leaders on the latest digital and social media approaches. An experienced educator, she travels the country leading training sessions on digital platforms and giving the occasional keynote to help leaders, marketers and sales teams in Fortune 100 firms get up to speed on the latest technologies.

Back at Mindset Digital HQ, Morgan works with a creative team who designs online training courses and certifications in social media, SEO, digital advertising, mobile trends and visual storytelling which have helped train thousands.

Morgan never tires of being on the road. When she isn’t traveling to workshops, she loves driving old sports cars and learning about anything with four wheels and a manual transmission.
Morgan has a Bachelor of Science in Education from Ohio University.

Jen Michaels
Keynote Speaker, Trainer, Presentation and Live Events Designer

As Mindset Digital’s content strategist for live events, Jen designs powerful visual stories about today’s digital world. She shapes the experience of Mindset Digital’s live events, including leading workshops and creating highly visual stories and presentations. In the process, she engages diverse audiences, from front-line sales staff to executive leadership teams.

Jen has a lifelong passion for using technology to help people connect. She honed that passion across ten years of teaching digital media at The Ohio State University and University of Michigan. And now, at Mindset Digital, she brings that same passion to broader audiences in Fortune 500 firms and healthcare organizations.

Jen has a Master of Arts in English from The Ohio State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The University of Michigan. She is currently a doctoral candidate at The Ohio State University. Her Ph.D. research examines how professionals use social media to support their everyday work.

At lunchtime, you’ll find her on the Mindset Digital balcony, playing her ukulele. She’s also an avid horseback rider and loves to bake pies.

Chris Cooke
Keynote Speaker, Chief Client Officer

Chris Cooke helps awaken leaders to the new realities of the digital world. His specialty is developing strategies for organizations to create a positive, engaged culture that embraces changing expectations.  Chis has seen how companies thrive when teams have a purpose and meaning behind their work, leading to greater engagement, creativity and flexibility.

Before joining Mindset Digital, Chris spent 12 years at Digital River helping companies worldwide develop their digital and eCommerce strategies. Most recently Chris helped start the retail consulting practice at ICC, where he worked with retail businesses to uncover actionable insights through advanced data analytics.

In addition, Chris serves as the President of the Columbus Crew SC Foundation and on the Board of Managers for Mizzen and Main, the world’s most comfortable dress shirt.

Chris has an M.B.A. from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and B.A. of Business from Wittenberg University, where he also played varsity soccer and rugby.

John has been a crusader for digital strategy for more than a decade, collaborating with organizations to reimagine how they reach their audiences. He has retooled marketing strategies across major brands and industries, from hospitality to financial services.

In the past, John has:

  • managed marketing teams as CMO in a number of Fortune 500 firms
  • developed and implemented a multi-year transformation strategy for Mass Mutual
  • lead the transition into digital promotions that directly impacted the growth of Holiday Inn Hotels, ultimately revitalizing the brand

When John isn’t brainstorming new ways to lead legacies into the digital sphere, he likes to chase along quiet country roads on his bike, which fuels his hunger for pizza.

John has a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Trinity College.
